LGBTQ+ dating app and social network Grindr appointed entrepreneur and investor George Arison as chief executive officer and tapped Disney Streaming Services chief financial officer Vanna Krantz as CFO.

Respira Technologies, an aerosol-focused biotech startup, promoted chief operating officer Brian Quigley to CEO.

Biotechnology company focused on cellular nanoparticle (CNP) platform technology Cellics Therapeutics, welcomed Paul Daruwala as president and chief executive officer. Daruwala was most recently chief operating officer at Cidara Therapeutics.

ImmPACT Bio, a clinical-stage company developing transformative logic-gate-based chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies for treating cancer named Jonathan Benjamin as chief medical officer. Benjamin served as senior vice president for clinical research at Atreca.

Spanish language media company Estrella Media tapped NBCUniversal executive vice president Enrique Guillen as chief content officer.

Michelle Golden joined entertainment technology company IMAX as global chief people officer. Golden recently served as chief human resources officer at HBO Max.

Underwear and loungewear company MeUndies appointed Elizabeth Krause as chief marketing officer. Krause served as Speedo’s vice president of digital and worked at other brands like Fox Racing, Volcom and Oakley.

Alliant Insurance Services, an insurance brokerage and consulting firm added risk financing expert Pete Kranz as senior vice president. Kranz was the executive managing director, captive practice leader at Brown & Brown Insurance.

Aviation transportation company Skyryse tapped Airbus head of marketing Will Fulton as vice president of product and marketing.

Last week at the Advanced Clean Transportation Expo, Santa Monica-based InCharge unveiled a new family of bidirectional electric vehicle chargers.

While a new charger might not have been the most jaw dropping tech unveiled at the expo, bidirectional charging–especially right now–offers the kind of cost saving solutions that should be extremely attractive to anybody that owns electric buses, delivery vans, or even tractor trailers in significant numbers. Basically, any fleet owner looking to save some money during their transition from diesel to battery would benefit from these chargers.
