Customer experience platform DISQO welcomed Salesforce veteran Scott Henderson as chief financial officer.

Biopharmaceutical company Ligand Pharmaceuticals named Todd C. Davis as chief executive officer. Davis is also a current member of the company’s board of directors.

NTWRK, a livestream shopping platform, appointed former VICE Media exec Ben Dietz as chief strategy officer.

Digital asset investment management company Wave Financial hired Harumi Urata-Thompson as chief financial officer. Most recently, she served as CFO of Emrit.

Esports company TSM welcomed Stephan Cieplik as chief revenue officer. Cieplik served as the SVP of Global Partnerships Sales at City Football Group.

Mullen Automotive, a motor vehicle manufacturer, hired Donald Borthwick as vice president of commercial sales. Borthwick previously served as the head of Western Region for Ford commercial sales.

Stephanie Traut joined salad chain Sweetgreen, as SVP of Operations. Prior to joining, Traut served as COO of Vasa Fitness.

RayzeBio, a biotechnology company, added Rich Heyman to its board of directors. Heyman previously served as the chairman of Amunix Pharmaceuticals.

Regen BioPharma, a biotechnology company focused on the immunology and immunotherapy space, appointed Ravinder Reddy and Mohammad Haris to its scientific advisory board. Reddy serves as a professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania, while Haris also serves as an associate professor at the University.

At Lowercarbon Capital’s LA Tech Week event Thursday, the synergy between the region’s aerospace industry and greentech startups was clear.

The event sponsored by Lowercarbon, Climate Draft (and the defunct Silicon Valley Bank’s Climate Technology & Sustainability team) brought together a handful of local startups in Hawthorne not far from LAX, and many of the companies shared DNA with arguably the region’s most famous tech resident: SpaceX.
