Local digital health company SpectrumAI raises fresh funding to accelerate the company’s applied behavior analysis (ABA) electronic health record, Twyll, and Patterns, while health and performance advisor Fount will use its new funding to advance its mission to make tailored health and performance programs more accessible.

Venture Capital

SpectrumAI, a Los Angeles-based digital health company looking to innovate autism care raised a $20 million Series A funding round led by CVS Health Ventures.

Culver City-based company creating customized health and performance programs Fount raised a $12M Series A funding round led by Amity Ventures.

K2 Space, a Santa Monica-based aerospace hardware company raised $8.5 million in funding, per an SEC filing.

Speakeasy Commerce, a San Diego-based e-commerce and fulfillment platform raised $8.9 million in funding, per an SEC filing.

Santa Monica-based smart contract platform startup Soul Wallet raised a $3 million a seed funding round. Investors that participated in this round include Struck Crypto, Game7DAO, NGC Ventures, Dispersion Capital, Alchemy, Ankr and Signum Capital.

Per an SEC filing, Culver City-based cognitive computing company specializing in next generation AI Verses Technologies raised $1.2 million in funding.

Cribsee, a San Diego-based AI-based property search platform, raised $1.2 million in funding, per an SEC filing.

Miscellaneous

PocketWatch, a Culver City-based media and entertainment platform partnered with creator company Jellysmack on a $25 million fund. The fund is intended to fuel PocketWatch’s growth opportunities for its creators.

Machina Labs, a Chatsworth-based AI robotics startup received $1.6 million from the U.S Air Force to advance and accelerate the development of its robotic technology.

At Lowercarbon Capital’s LA Tech Week event Thursday, the synergy between the region’s aerospace industry and greentech startups was clear.
