Electric vehicle charging manufacturer Lectron appointed Jay Goldman as chief revenue officer. Goldman previously served as CSO at Plugshare, vice president of business development at EVgo and director of charging infrastructure and energy services, business development at Faraday Future.

Bravo Mondo, a growth capital investment firm, named Rich Antoniello as operating partner. Antoniello co-founded Complex in 2002 and served as its CEO until 2020.

TheoremOne, an engineering company, hired Joe Devon as head of accessibility. Devon is a co-Founder of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) and currently sits as a chairperson of the GAAD Foundation.

Edtech company Age of Learning welcomed Art Cavazos as inaugural superintendent-in-residence. Recently, Cavazos was the former superintendent of the Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District (HCISD)

ProducePay, a financing and trading platform, added former Shipt chief product and experience officer Karl Varsanyi as president. The company also welcomed Manolo Reyes as senior vice president of retail and alternative channels and Ravi Jollyas vice president of strategic partnerships. Reyes held senior roles at Fresh Del Monte, NatureSweet, Walmart, and Costco, while Jolly started his career as an investment banker at JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Lazard.

Former president and COO of Activision Blizzard Coddy Johnson joined fantasy sports app Champions Round board of directors.

All-in-one management software BuildOps tapped former Salesforce president and chief strategy officer Gavin Patterson to the board of advisors.

VIZIO, a consumer electronics company tapped former Best Buy executive R. Michael Mohan to its board of directors.

At Lowercarbon Capital’s LA Tech Week event Thursday, the synergy between the region’s aerospace industry and greentech startups was clear.

The event sponsored by Lowercarbon, Climate Draft (and the defunct Silicon Valley Bank’s Climate Technology & Sustainability team) brought together a handful of local startups in Hawthorne not far from LAX, and many of the companies shared DNA with arguably the region’s most famous tech resident: SpaceX.
