A Sherman Oaks-based rental platform raised fresh funding for its software system, while Yotta Energy received a $1.23 million award from the California Energy Commission (CEC) to examine reduction in greenhouse gas emissions.

RentSpree, a Sherman Oaks-based rental management software provider, raised $17.3 million in Series B financing led by Green Visor Capital to help facilitate new partnerships and expand their software offerings.

San Diego’s Learnsoft, a SaaS-based learning technology platform raised a $16.7 million Series A round of growth financing led by Elsewhere Partners.

Culver City-based Manufactured, a supply-chain finance and distribution company, raised $13 million in debt and equity from Tenacity Venture Capital and TriplePoint Capital.

Los Angeles-based live streaming app Stacked raised $12.9 million in Series A funding led by Pantera Capital.

Santa Monica-based sustainable space company Outpost Space raised a $7.1 million seed funding round led by Moonshots Capital.

Warren James, a Los Angeles-based creator merch startup, raised $6 million in Series A funding led by Crossbeam Venture Partners.

Los Angeles-based Web3 company Koop raised a $5 million funding round co-led by 1confirmation and Variant Fund to help companies launch NFT-based membership passes while fundraising.

Miscellaneous

Yotta Energy, a Santa Ana-based company that develops energy storage technology received a $1.23 million award from the California Energy Commission (CEC).

At Lowercarbon Capital’s LA Tech Week event Thursday, the synergy between the region’s aerospace industry and greentech startups was clear.

The event sponsored by Lowercarbon, Climate Draft (and the defunct Silicon Valley Bank’s Climate Technology & Sustainability team) brought together a handful of local startups in Hawthorne not far from LAX, and many of the companies shared DNA with arguably the region’s most famous tech resident: SpaceX.
