Authentication and access management software developer SecureAuth named Kelly Wenzel as chief customer officer and added Howard Greenfield to its advisory board. Wenzel previously served roles at LinkedIn, Jobvite, Simply Hired and Odyssey Information Services, while Greenfield is the current operating partner for Canaan.

Eccentex, a developer of dynamic case management software company, welcomed Tibor Vass as chief marketing officer. Vass served as the senior director of industry solutions at Genesys.

Data-driven insights and research company MarketCast tapped Debra Meyer as chief revenue officer. Meyer held leadership positions at Microsoft, Salesforce, Nielsen and Criteo.

Kristin Yarema, Ph.D. joined clinical-stage cell and gene therapy company Poseida Therapeutics, Inc as president. Dr. Yarema most recently served as chief commercial officer at Atara Biotherapeutics.

OpenX, a developer of a web and mobile advertising platform hired Joseph Worswick as the vice president of sales and head of global sustainability. Prior to joining, Worswick served as the regional vice president of sales at MiQ.

Vegan fast food chain Plant Power Fast Food added former CEO of M&M Food Market Andy O'Brien to its board of directors.

Resecurity, a cybersecurity company appointed Telstra Ventures partner Marcus Bartram to its advisory board.

At Lowercarbon Capital’s LA Tech Week event Thursday, the synergy between the region’s aerospace industry and greentech startups was clear.

The event sponsored by Lowercarbon, Climate Draft (and the defunct Silicon Valley Bank’s Climate Technology & Sustainability team) brought together a handful of local startups in Hawthorne not far from LAX, and many of the companies shared DNA with arguably the region’s most famous tech resident: SpaceX.
