LA Tech ‘Moves’:

MOCEAN, an advertising services company, promoted president Michael McIntyre to chief executive officer.

Jimmy Peters joined food service platform Galley Solutions as chief revenue officer. Prior to joining, Peters held leadership positions at Leaf Trade, Ordermark and Fooda.

Cybersecurity platform MixMode named Mark Rotolo as chief revenue officer. Rotolo was previously the VP of major accounts at Fortinet, and also served at Threat X, ProtectWise and Shape Security.

Simpluris, a corporate, financial and legal administration services company hired Patrick Ive as chief sales executive. Ive recently served as a sales and marketing executive at a leading settlement administration firm.

Casual apparel supplier Next Level Apparel welcomed former Careismatic Brands executive vice president Michael Alexander as president.

Learnsoft, a provider of integrated learning courses, appointed Craig Connell as senior vice president of technology and engineering. Connell also currently serves as an operating partner for TCP Venture Capital.

Waste recycling company ByFusion added former SpaceX executive Douglas Crawford as vice president of engineering and operations.

At Lowercarbon Capital’s LA Tech Week event Thursday, the synergy between the region’s aerospace industry and greentech startups was clear.

The event sponsored by Lowercarbon, Climate Draft (and the defunct Silicon Valley Bank’s Climate Technology & Sustainability team) brought together a handful of local startups in Hawthorne not far from LAX, and many of the companies shared DNA with arguably the region’s most famous tech resident: SpaceX.
