Southern California is beginning to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and new job opportunities in advanced industries, such as mobility and transportation, are on the way.

"SoCal, with Los Angeles at its center, is more and more the premiere ecosystem for technology and transportation innovation" said John Rossant, CEO of CoMotion.

In order to shine a light on trends and investment opportunities in emerging mobility, dot.LA is partnering with CoMotion to host Motivate SOCAL.

The half day virtual event, set for May 19, 2021 in Los Angeles, will feature a mix of panels, startup pitches, and networking gatherings for venture capitalists, business development leaders, investors, policy-makers, and mobility enthusiasts. The event will also serve as a platform for regional startups — seed to Series A stage — to pitch to a national and international audience.

"Los Angeles is the world's mobility incubator. We're so excited to team up with our friends at CoMotion to shine a light on some of these trends and the innovative companies that are building the next generation of transportation," said Sam Adams, CEO of dot.LA.
