Los Angeles is now the third largest startup ecosystem in the U.S. The city is home to about 3,800 venture-backed startups—a 20% increase from the year prior, according to a new report by VC firm Telstra Ventures. The City of Angels is behind only the Bay Area and New York, which are home to about 13,000 and 7,500 startups, respectively.
